It is known that you started your career as a photographer, then MC and Make up artist, but in the end you were destined to be loved and loved as a designer. Please share about this?

Designer Ngoc Long: “That's right, Long started his career as a photographer, MC, make up artist, but being loved by the audience as a designer is truly a great joy because perhaps Ngoc Long and his team regularly launch new collections and pay close attention to the smallest details on the costumes so as not to disappoint customers, and every time he comes to those costumes, Ngoc Long always shares the meanings that the costumes carry, as well as advises on how to best suit each customer. To put it most accurately, if you work with all your heart, people will love you.”

So what fate brought you to the design profession?

Designer Ngoc Long: “Um… Actually, at first, Long specialized in photography and makeup. When working with fashion shows, beauty contests, and couples, Long saw that after he finished his makeup, they had to contact other places to get wedding dresses and evening gowns. So Ngoc Long thought, why don't I design and sew those outfits so that the beauties don't have to run around to many places. Long started drawing diligently for more than a month and researched how to import the best materials for his outfits. With the first designs that were loved, Long was so happy that he cried and had more motivation to go further in his career to create new designs."

Many people think that he is quite reckless when spending billions of dong on high-end materials to make his collection. What do you think about this?

Designer Ngoc Long: Laughing…”That’s right, at first, there were many opinions that Ngoc Long was too “reckless” or intentionally shocking when spending a lot of money on high-end materials from abroad to make costumes. However, Ngoc Long has never felt reckless or regretted it because at that time Ngoc Long had just launched his first collection and the design was his whole heart, so Long could not choose simple materials like lilies. He should choose a breakthrough way to make a first impression in the hope that everyone would support him and indeed, Ngoc Long loved it beyond his expectations. Later, Long was almost associated with the brand of high-end wedding and party wear, so he was even more attentive and used luxurious materials to be worthy of the two words “high-end” that everyone lovingly gave him”.

Please share about a day in the life of the hotboy designer of the fashion industry?

Designer Ngoc Long: “If I don’t have to go on a business trip, I start my day very early and end quite late. At around 6am, I wake up to exercise and water the plants in the garden, have breakfast with my family, then at around 8:30am, I open my studio and prepare all the necessary documents and review my appointment schedule with clients. Then, I go to my event company to arrange work for my employees, and at 12pm, I have lunch and take a 1-hour break. At around 1am, I go take photos or work as an MC. At exactly 5:30pm, I am home and have lunch with my family. Then, I start taking photos for clients or attending events depending on my schedule, and at 8pm, I go to the gym (For Long, to complete many tasks well, I need to be healthy first). At 10pm, I start working on my designs, and only when I am most satisfied will I go to bed. On weekends, I don't have to go to the company so work is finished early, so Long will spend free time in the evening to go out for dinner and coffee with friends and relatives."
